I am really excited about the upcoming "Say No to Drugs" Holiday Classic. I think it's a great opportunity for kids, and not just for those kids who are running in the race. All kids who take part, whether as runners or volunteers, will find a really ethical community. Marathons are generally great places for kids to interact with the community in general, because you are likely to find great people participating.
But add to that the purpose of keeping people away from drugs, and you've got added responsibility of the participants.
This is an event my kids look forward to every year.
