I have a close relative who divorced this year. She'd only been married a few years, and they married late in life. It's been difficult for her, especially as she's ending her child-bearing years, and did want to have children.
From an exterior viewpoint, it seems easy to see what went wrong; they didn't communicate fully with one another. They did things they shouldn't have done to one another, and weren't able or willing to be fully honest.
