Human Rights
I am teaching my children about human rights - something that everyone could probably learn more about.
We were discussing the persecution of the Falun Gong in China, and how this affects us, even though it is half a world away.
I have noticed that youth can really understand the pain of others, and injustice seems just that to them - unjust. What is it about aging that causes some of the horror and shock of injustice to just sort of seem -- well -- less terrible?
Here are some groups that are doing something about it:
Church of Scientology Human Rights
Youth for Human Rights
