My son is so cute! He's 5 years old, and the youngest of all my children. He's always been very cuddly, and so I've been a little concerned that he might feel the baby we're expecting is taking his place.

One thing we have always done, which has completely eliminated jealousy of the new baby, is we've always talked about the one we're expecting as "our baby." It's EVERYONE'S baby to take care of and love.

The other day, I asked him, "When the new baby comes, will I still get to cuddle you?"

He gave me a serious look and said, "yes, but not so much. Because the new baby will need me to cuddle him a lot." :) That was so sweet - and gave me much reassurance.
