Last year we attended a really wonderful 2-day event for artists & the community. The admission was small (about $5 I think), and proceeds were donated to the Hollywood Education and Literacy Project (H.E.L.P.) in Hollywood.

For the small admission price, we were able to attend figure and still life drawing lessons, watch performances by a bunch of singers & dancers, the kids took part in drawing contests (and one of my kids won a prize!), and we saw numerous art exhibits. The kids took an acting class, and it was really a great experience.

The event was sponsored by Artists for a Better World International and was held at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre, at the Manor Hotel.
