I really like the "Complete Book of Time and Money" by American Education Publishers. This is a huge work book - over 300 pages. The first half is time, the second half is money.

The subjects are approached on an easy gradient to more difficult material. For instance, the time starts with showing pictures of different types of clocks - from watches, to clock radios, to grandfather clocks. And names the different types of clocks. Then goes into hours, and reading the hour hand. Then it explains the minutes, and why we use the two dots between the hours and minutes, etc.

In other words, the kids aren't rushed AT ALL in learning this material.

The pages are colorful, so it's fun to look at, and my kids have all loved this book.

You can order it through Amazon for just a few dollars.
